Outdoor photographs work beautifully along the Promenade, at Blackrock diving tower, or with the bay behind you — all just steps from the venue.
Dedicated Wedding Coordination
From your first enquiry to the last dance, our wedding coordinator Valerie works alongside you. She handles room layout, supplier recommendations (flowers, music, photography, entertainment), menu tastings, timing and a full rehearsal walk-through before the day itself.
Wedding Menus
Our head chef builds bespoke menus using locally sourced ingredients — Atlantic seafood, Connemara lamb, artisan Irish cheeses and seasonal produce. Choose from canapé receptions, five-course wedding banquets, relaxed BBQs or themed evening buffets. Wine pairings, cocktail receptions and drinks packages are available, and we cater for all dietary requirements.
Wedding Packages
Our all-inclusive packages cover room hire, drinks reception, multi-course banquet, evening food, a bridal suite for the wedding night, and preferential accommodation rates for guests. Every couple is different, so we’ll customise any package to suit your preferences and budget — from midweek celebrations to full Saturday weddings.
Guest Accommodation
With 161 bedrooms, we have ample space for your guests at preferential rates. Room types range from Classic Double up to Seaview King with panoramic bay views. Guests can also enjoy the Promenade, a swim in Ocean Fitness, or a trip into Galway city during their stay.
Civil Ceremonies and Blessings
Salthill Hotel is licensed for civil ceremonies, so your entire day can take place in one location. The ceremony room can be arranged for a traditional aisle setup or a more contemporary layout. For church ceremonies, the hotel is conveniently placed for churches across Galway city and Salthill.
