Fabulous hotel..|Had lunch before heading to match in Pearse Stadium,place was packed,but we were served by Vlad.|Lovely food ,and service was excellent even with it being so busy..|Will be back again .Thanks..

Beautiful property & location The property was beautiful.
Location is quite nice if you’d like access to the beach rather than the hustle & bustle of the downtown.

We got married at the Salthill Hotel two Saturdays ago, and from start to finish, the experience was absolutely amazing. The whole team made everything feel effortless, and their calm, professional approach meant we could truly relax and enjoy every moment of our day.
I got ready in the Promenade Suite, where breakfast, coffees and drinks were brought up to us. It made the morning so relaxing, and it was the perfect way to begin such a special day.

The ceremony room and the Orangery were set up beautifully, and everything looked even better than we had imagined. The hotel also organised the reception music, which created such a lovely atmosphere, and there were plenty of drinks for all of our guests.

The waiting staff in the ballroom were outstanding, and the entire evening ran flawlessly. We received so many compliments from our guests about how incredible the food was. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and every member of staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

To top it all off, the bridal suite was beautifully prepared for us and was honestly the nicest hotel room I've ever stayed in.

A huge thank you to Valerie, Laura and Jayden for everything you did. Your hard work, kindness and attention to detail made our wedding day so special, and we are incredibly grateful. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to celebrate one of the most important days of our lives. Highly recommend the Salthill Hotel to any couple planning their wedding!

Great location overlooking the sea at Salthill. Warm, old-school charm, all in good order but could do with a bit of an upgrade. Giant dusty flower arrangement in the lobby and elderly-looking carpets in the rooms make it feel fusty.The leisure centre means it's a great place for a break in any weather, but also needs some tlc, only half the jacuzzi was working when we were there. Friendly staff and a good quality buffet breakfast.

A lovely stay. A very clean and well organised hotel in a great location. Friendly and welcoming staff and a very nice breakfast. We didn't have time to use the pool but it looked really good. We will definitely return.

V happy customers! Our second stay in The Salthill Hotel was a good as our first a year ago. Again, our amazing stay was due to the staff being so helpful, friendly and professional. The ladies on reception during our stay were so kind and friendly, I'm just sorry we didn't get their names.They were working during the day of Wed 15th through to Fri 17th. Our room was beautifully clean. The breakfast was tasty. We cant wait to stay at the Salthill Hotel again. We've recommended it to friends a lot over the last year.

We stayed in Salthill hotel last weekend 16th August for 2 nights. It is a beautiful hotel and staff lovely and so helpful especially Eileen Alice and Peggy absolute ladies. Beautiful location What a great way to enjoy panoramic views of the Galway Bay with easy access to plenty of shops and restaurants.

Lovely hotel on outskirts of Galway city! Great hotel on promenade on outskirts of Galway.
We had a corner room which was huge with the best and very quiet air con possible. Everywhere was very clean. Large comfy bed and great walk in shower in bathroom. Lots of water supplied daily which was impressive compared to some places.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choice but the buffet should be hotter.
The blackrock bar was great for drinks and food. All staff throughout hotel were very pleasant.
Car parking is free while you are a guest at the hotel.
It was a good 45 minute walk into the centre of the city but there are taxis available if needed.
The only bad experience we had was when we were waiting for our room to be ready. The local football stadium emptied and the hotel turned into chaos. It was not possible to get in the bar or restaurants. We left and managed to eat and drink elsewhere. Management definitely need to look at this happening again as they were just not prepared for what could have been a very lucrative couple of hours!
If in Galway again we would definitely stay at this hotel.

We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday and a thoughtful dessert platter was left for her.
Siobhán in reservations was very helpful and Alice in reception was particularly helpful.
The food in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast was also good.
The only suggestion we would make is that the singer in the bar needed to be less loud. All of the tables near her were empty and we left after one drink, as we couldn't hear each other.

Beautiful place

The room was perfect, spacious and spotless, and I could not hear any significant ambient noise from either adjacent rooms or corridor traffic. The food was great. Service from check-in to check-out was first class - restaurant, bar, breakfast, included. Staff were pleasant and courteous. There was great character about the public areas of the hotel. I did not have a chance to avail of the leisure facilities on this occasion. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and wished it was longer.
