    Galway Continental Christmas Market

    Christmas in Galway is a very special time for all ages. A visit to Galway during the festive season will not disappoint. The largest Continental Christmas Market in Ireland is based in the centre of Galway City in Eyre Square. Savour the sounds & smells of Christmas whilst meandering around the stalls picking up some last minute gifts. Open November 19th - December 22nd.

  • Elf Town 

    Visit Elf Town in the heart of Galway city, for an unforgettable Christmas experience for all the family.
    Elf Town is a 1 hour + interactive, magical journey through Christmas with a visit to Santa like no other. See the elves in Elf wood and Elf grove, See the elves workshop and wrapping station, visit Mrs Claus in her kitchen, see the postal department, mail train, mission control, where the elves plan Santa’s Christmas Eve trip before entering the play area to wait on your visit to Santa.
    The children’s experience:
    Enter Elf town through Candy Cane Lane.
    Meet the Snow Princess in Elf wood where the children receive their “Trainee Elf” badges and their Elf passport that gets stamped by the Elves along the way.
    Make your wish in the wishing fountain in Elf Grove but watch out for the mischievous elves throwing snow balls!
    Next, its through the workshop and see where the elves wrap their over sized presents in the wrapping station.
    Meet Mrs Claus and help her decorate your own cookie in her kitchen.
    Write and post your letter to Santa in the mailing department and see the mail train steam up and down the train tracks.
    Enter into mission control where the elves plan out Santa’s Christmas Eve route and if the children have helped out the elves along the way they will receive their Honorary Elf badge.
    Wait to visit Santa in the play area that includes our cuddly corner for any tired children or Mammies and Daddies, light the Christmas tree by “team work”, Dance along with Elf D.J, Spend time on the Craft table.
    Be sure to have your camera phone at the ready, as there are many wonderful photo opportunities, especially in our play area at the Selfie Elfie station!

    Galway City on Ice is re-opening on November 17th in its new location at Leisureland in Salthill. If you ever wanted to have a go at Ice Skating now is your chance. Open between 17th November & January 7th 2017.
