Accounts Assistant – Maternity Leave Cover

Due to an impending Maternity Leave we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join us at 4-star Salthill Hotel in Galway, one of Ireland’s finest hotels and renowned for its weddings, conferencing, leisure and luxury getaway breaks. We are part of the Byrne Hotel Group, a unique collection of family-owned hotels and guests houses in Galway and Dublin, offering Irish Hospitality as its best.
The position is based in the Salthill Hotel, reporting to the Financial Accountant.
A competitive salary will be offered in accordance with your experience.
Your Responsibilities
• Accounts Payable
• Account Receivable
• Daily Cash Reconciliations
• Supplier Reconciliations
Your Profile
Minimum Requirements:
• 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication both written and verbal, organisational and numerical skills
• The ability to work on own initiative, to manage a varied workload and work to tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
Preferred Requirements:
• Hospitality industry background
